A textile exporter and a retail pharmacy have almost nothing in common. So we do not sell them the same system.

Essence ERP ships nine ready-built products, each shaped around one kind of business, configured to how you actually work and live in three to four months.

9 products, each built for one kind of business

Not modules you configure into shape. Systems that already understand sampling approvals, batch expiry, bin locations or treatment protocols on the day they are installed.

02Why Essence ERP

What actually makes an ERP project succeed

Six things we hold to. They are the difference between a system people use and one they quietly work around.

The uncomfortable statistic

Roughly three quarters of ERP implementations disappoint. Almost none of them fail because the software could not do the job.

They fail on scope nobody wrote down, data nobody reconciled, and training that stopped at go-live.

How we work
  1. 01

Live in 3-4 months, not 18

We start from a system that already knows your workflows. Most go live within a single quarter; the industry average is 14-18 months.

  2. 02

Built for one industry, not all of them

A textile exporter and a retail pharmacy share almost nothing. Hence a separate product per trade, not one generic system you bend into shape.

  3. 03

You pay to build it, not to log in

One-time build cost, unlimited users. Add the shop floor, every branch and the sales team without a per-seat line on the invoice.

  4. 04

You own the stack, all the way down

ERPNext and Frappe underneath: open source, self-hostable, no proprietary lock-in. Take the code and the database whenever you want.

  5. 05

The people who scope it are the ones who build it

Same engineers through configuration, deployment and support. Nothing goes to an offshore delivery pool halfway through.

  6. 06

The upgrade does not undo the build

Version upgrades leave your customisations intact. SLA-backed support, proactive monitoring and quarterly health checks throughout.

04Method

Six phases, written down before we start

Unremarkable, and followed every time. That is what makes a go-live date something you can plan a financial year around.

  1. 01

    Discovery

We document how work actually moves today and map the gaps against the ERP. Phases, owners and dates go into a written scope before anything is built.

  2. 02

    Configuration

Chart of accounts, numbering, approval chains, roles and permissions follow your policies. Industry modules are tuned, not written from scratch.

  3. 03

    Custom build

Whatever standard ERP will not do, we build: versioned code in a custom app, never one-off patches on a live site.

  4. 04

    Data migration

Masters, opening balances and history from Tally, Excel or the legacy system, reconciled to the rupee against your trial balance before sign-off.

  5. 05

    Training & go-live

Role-based training on your own data, written SOPs, on-site or remote cover through the first close. Hypercare ends when the daily questions do.

  6. 06

    Run & improve

Managed support, monitoring and upgrades. Quarterly reviews name the next module worth adding, unprompted.

06Questions

Asked before the first meeting

Not answered here? Call +91 94298 76631 and ask the engineer who would run your project.

How long does an ERP implementation actually take?
Three to four months for a single-location business on an industry product, migration and training included. Multi-location groups and heavy customisation run longer. You hear that in discovery, not after signing.
Is this a monthly subscription?
No. One-time build cost, licence yours permanently, unlimited users. Cloud hosting, extended support and some add-on modules are optional, billed separately. Decline them all and self-host.
Can we host it on our own server?
Yes. ERPNext and Frappe deploy identically on our managed cloud, your own VPS, or a machine in your factory. Code and database are yours either way.
What if our process does not match the standard ERP?
That is the normal case. Custom doctypes, workflows, print formats and reports are part of the build: a versioned custom app that ERPNext upgrades cannot overwrite.
Do you migrate our existing data?
Yes: customers, suppliers, items, stock, opening balances, out of Tally, Busy, Excel or an older ERP. The migrated trial balance is reconciled to your books before go-live, variance line by line.
What does support look like after go-live?
Named engineers, not a ticket queue. SLA tiers set response times by severity, monitoring is proactive, and version upgrades preserve your customisations.
Can Essence ERP talk to our other systems?
Anything with an API, plus file-based exchange for anything without: Shopify, WooCommerce, payment gateways, courier and logistics APIs, biometric attendance devices, GST and e-invoicing portals, banking feeds, in-house applications.
Which industries do you work in?
Manufacturing and job work, textile and garments, retail pharmacy and healthcare, warehousing and logistics, wellness and yoga, hospitality, education, finance and broking. The first five are the most mature.
